CHOCCI-LEAKS is CocoaRadar’s new confidential tipline, built to give insiders across the value chain a safe, secure way to share information about wrongdoing, malpractice or sensitive issues that deserve scrutiny.
The system is designed with one goal:
Expose the truth. Protect the future of cocoa.
Why CHOCCI-LEAKS matters
From sustainability claims and procurement decisions to labour practices and financial governance, not everyone working inside this industry feels able to speak up. Several of CocoaRadar’s most impactful stories this year began with anonymous tips — and revealed issues that would not otherwise have come to light.
As Editor & Founder Tony Myers notes:
“Transparency is discussed widely in supply chains, yet corporate policies can remain opaque — and not everyone feels able to speak up for fear of reprisals. This is a first for the cocoa and chocolate industry: a safe way for people to share evidence of bad behaviour or sensitive material with us, regardless of who they work for.”
CHOCCI-LEAKS creates that safe space — with strict editorial controls and source protection at its core.
What You Can Report
CHOCCI-LEAKS welcomes confidential information on:
- Corruption or fraud
- Unethical sourcing
- Greenwashing or false sustainability claims
- Labour or human rights violations
- Market manipulation or misuse of funds
- Corporate malpractice across procurement, sustainability, compliance, finance, and more
Every submission is handled solely within CocoaRadar’s editorial chain, assessed for public-interest value, and — where appropriate — investigated for publication.
