Time to Deliver: Industry-Voices Urge Swift Implementation of the EUDR - EXCLUSIVE

The round-table debate, attended by CocoaRadar, convened last week in the European Parliament, titled 'Time to Deliver: Business Needs Effective EUDR Implementation Now', to assess the latest proposal from the European Commission to amend the Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 on deforestation‑free products (EUDR).

It was an opportunity for the business community to express what it expects in terms of implementation and regulatory certainty. Industry and civil-society actors are now navigating a complex mix of readiness, regulatory ambition and delay risk, policy makers were informed.

As noted by Euractiv, the regulation is under intense pressure: a new one-year delay is gaining ground amid opposing views from EU institutions.
