The World Cocoa Foundation (WCF), in partnership with the Ghana Cocoa Board (Cocobod), has announced that the 2027 World Cocoa Foundation Partnership Meeting (PM27) will take place in Accra, Ghana, from 17–18 March 2027.

The announcement was made during an official ceremony held on 21 May 2026 at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Accra, bringing together representatives from government, industry, civil society, development organisations and the international cocoa community.

'From Origin to Resilience'

Held under the theme 'From Origin to Resilience', PM27 will focus on how grounding sector dialogue in origin-country realities can help build a more sustainable, resilient and connected global cocoa value chain.

The annual Partnership Meeting is regarded as one of the cocoa sector’s leading global convenings, providing a platform for collaboration, dialogue and practical exchange across the cocoa and chocolate value chain. The event will bring together leaders from producing and consuming markets to discuss shared challenges, sustainability priorities and opportunities shaping the future of the cocoa sector.

According to WCF and Cocobod, the meeting will create space for stakeholders to connect with partners, exchange perspectives from both the origin and market contexts, and identify practical priorities to strengthen sustainability and resilience across cocoa-growing communities.

As one of the world’s leading cocoa-producing countries, Ghana continues to play a central role in advancing sustainability, resilience and long-term prosperity within the global cocoa economy. Hosting the 2027 Partnership Meeting reflects the country’s leadership and ongoing commitment to strengthening collaboration across the international cocoa community.

Alongside the Partnership Meeting, Cocobod will host a special commemorative event as part of its 80th anniversary celebrations, recognising eight decades of contribution to Ghana’s cocoa sector and the wider global cocoa economy.

Further details on the PM27 programme, themes, registration and participation opportunities are expected to be announced in the coming months through the WCF website and official PM27 communication channels.
